Trek Emonda SLR Project One

Rs1

A light weight climbing machine in black and white

Starting with the Emonda SLR frameset as a mere 780 grams Rick added a SRAM eTap groupset with long cage rear mech so he can use a 30T sprocket. The wheels are Bontager's Aeolus 3 carbon tubeless ready hoops and are shod with Continental GP4000 28mm tyres; clearance is er, snug but the Bontrager caliper brakes allow more clearance than Shimano's. A Quarq power meter is installed that gives left and right power readings and compliments the SRAM and Bontrager components. A nice touch is the Nokon cable which makes the cable routing even neater as there are no Di2 wires spoiling the bike's lines. Carbon Isozone bars are fitted for added comfort and weight reduction.

What our clients say

  • "A highly personalized and very friendly service, giving good advice and adjustments that are helpful whatever level of cyclist you are."

    MJ

    Cyclist

  • "I'm new to cycling so needed some support on finding a bike that would be right for me. Julian couldn't have been kinder or more supportive, he took time to find out what I wanted from my cycling and then looked closely at my physical structure to ensure that the bike is a comfortable fit for me. It really is a 5 star service and far exceeded my expectations."

    RM

    New Cyclist

  • "A very thorough, professional and personal service. I was keen to analyse my bike position after breaking my hip. The custom footbeds and alterations to my position feel really good, just wish I’d come sooner! Many thanks"

    TD

    Endurance MTB rider

  • "A great service, full of personal touches as well as the "harder" scientific analysis of my position on the bike, which was also excellent. I feel more planted on the bike now, and came away with some really useful feedback from the session."

    Ed H

    London Dynamo Rider

  • "Honestly these are great (custom orthotics). My feet feel totally balanced and stable and I‘m not searching for the pedal when I want to push it. They’ve made a massive difference.”"
