Quite often we here this 'I'm not very fit so I don't deserve a good bike'.
"Nonsense" we say.
Buy the best bike you can as it will be a much better experience and serve you better and we will customise it accordingly.
In this case we replaced the standard Shimano Ultegra chainset with a Rotor Aldhu chainset. It combines a single sided powermeter (double sided is available) and most importantly 30t and 46t chainrings that are smaller than the standard 34t and 50t option available on the Shimano chainsets. Both of which are too big for many riders.
Combining the smaller chainrings with the 34 tooth cog on the back emans hills and mountains will be much easier to climb and when on the flat and not going very fast the chain will be in the middle of the cassette giving more gear options and producing less drag.
In other news this bike has a Shimano Ultegra Di2 electric groupset and the lovely Bontrager RSL 37 wheels. Apart from being highly efficient and reliable the Shimano levers are smaller than SRAM's and naturally suit riders with smaller hands better.
