A fine - if not superb - example of Seven's skills at building a modern titanium frame and yours truly's skills at designing frames for our customers based on their Cyclefit measurements. The frame is a Seven Axiom SL Disc that uses double butted titanium tubes and is upgraded with the 'XV' package that includes 1" chainstays for power transfer and complimented with the Mono Seatstays to add compliance for the rider. The bottom bracket and headtube are CNC'd to remove excess material to help reduce the wight and the tubes also receive extra butting too.
This bike is designed for solo and group riding all year round and has the option of fitting mudguards, the fork used is the Enve AR which offers a little more clearance and has the mudguard mounts; the geometry was conceived to keep the ride lively and stable and by all reports it achieves both. The groupset is SRAM Red eTap with Fizik finishing kit and DT Swiss DICUT wheels with Schwalbe Pro One 28mm tubless tyres.
The titanium finish is 'natural' with blasted panels on the down tube, seat tube and seat stays.
"The weekend was great thanks and just got back from another spin in the glorious sunshine, (shorts and short sleeves 🌞👍. Only one word to describe the bike “sublime”. It is comfortable, handles superbly and is quick as well. Everything is working nicely, just had to adjust the headset as the bearings have settled in now."
