Full-Custom Seven 622XX
This is a very special bike. It had to be perfect. Alli has a couple of Seven bikes already (rim-brake). They both do huge mileage in all weathers, all year. Like they should. When it came to a new bike with disc-brakes, Alli wanted the lightest and highest performance bike possible. For while we focussed on full-carbon. But we couldn't achieve the ride-quality, strength and longevity needed. We approached Rob Vandermark (Seven founder) and asked him (given Alli's light-weight) whether he would walk this through production, as if Alli were a full-sponsored Seven athlete and we were trying to build to the extreme of what is possible. We also wanted a full-custom paint-scheme that would echo the uniqueness of the project (see below). The frame geometry was designed at Cyclefit by Phil. But the tube-selection, butting-profiles, XX engineering and machining, was down to Rob and his talented team. Bravo gentlemen and ladies (Seven's most experienced welder is Stef Adams)
"Every tube-diameter, butting-profile, weld, carbon-weave, paint scheme, has been conceived around one person. Alli."
