Project One Trek Madone with 2022 Shimano Dura Ace

In this era both are rarer than a Banksy!

22 Madone1

It has taken us a very long time to get this very special ambassador of two technologies. On display at Cyclefit now!

Trek Madone SLR (Project One) with 2022 Shimano Dura Ace 9200

Surely one of the rarer sentences currently in the English Language? We can't remember when we ordered our '22 Dura Ace groupsets, it is so long ago. Stuff just sporadically appears now. It was a happy day indeed when the postman bought our long awaited Project One Madone SLR with 12 speed semi-wireless shifting. A '22 Madone SLR fuselage finished in 'Prismatic Black' is arguably the perfect canvas. In theory test-rides are available. In theory.

Smaller, neater, crisper. And I don't mean Barna's bar-taping

22 Madone4

So this is what all the fuss is about!

22 Madone5

No big manufacturer paints a bike as well as Trek. The depth of finish is astonishing.

22 Madone6

Almost wireless. But a full 12 sprockets

22 Madone7

Did moving a chain ever involve anything more elegant?

What our clients say

  • "The personal service from both Phil and Julian is second to none. They have such a wealth of experience in fitting that they can almost tell at a glance if something is just a little off. It felt as though it didn't matter how long it took to get the best position possible - even for an amateur cyclist like myself. Can't recommend them enough."

  • "Julian was very knowledgeable and explained the fitting process very well. He came highly recommended and i completely agree. Very happy with the service. Instantly felt better on the bike. The pain i had in my knee went away right away. "

  • "I have a lot of trust in you guys and I know how you work so I think we could do something good. Orthotics feeling good."

    Tom Pidcock

World and Olympic champion, Ineos Grenadiers.

  • "I tried the shorter cranks today and I like them - it feels like it's less stress for the back and it seems easier to ride higher cadence. In the end I had a good Tour with no back problems. Thanks for your help!"

    Bauke Mollema
  • "A great service, full of personal touches as well as the "harder" scientific analysis of my position on the bike, which was also excellent. I feel more planted on the bike now, and came away with some really useful feedback from the session."
