Lighter? Stiffer? Cheaper?

It often feels that cycling has lost its way striving for these questionable attributes in a bike frame and forgetting who is riding a bike and what they want to do on it. Titanium isn't the lightest material to build a bike from but it is the most durable and it irons out the bumps in the road - all this fuss about wider tyres recently is only a way to make a 'stiff' carbon frame more comfortable - ride smooth and still get the feedback from the road surface on a Passoni.

Titanium takes longer to build and in Passoni's case three days to lovingly polish to a jewel like finish. But its a tough metal and these bikes are built to be ridden in all weathers.

Lightweight's carbon wheels are certainly light and stiff and bomb proof as well, and because they are made completely from carbon offer a very unique ride - their stiffness to weight ratio can't be bettered - oh, im talking about stiffness and lightness, damn.

SRAM's wireless eTap groupset does away with any superfluous holes in the tubing (the more holes the weaker it gets) and cleans the bikes lines even further. Just the two brake cables with rear brake routed internally.

Custom design based on a riders shape and physiology for a perfect fit and let's not forget the handling, rider balanced perfectly between the wheels.

I haven't used the word cheap, you cant have everything.

What our clients say

  • "I tried the shorter cranks today and I like them - it feels like it's less stress for the back and it seems easier to ride higher cadence. In the end I had a good Tour with no back problems. Thanks for your help!"

    Bauke Mollema
  • "I'm new to cycling so needed some support on finding a bike that would be right for me. Julian couldn't have been kinder or more supportive, he took time to find out what I wanted from my cycling and then looked closely at my physical structure to ensure that the bike is a comfortable fit for me. It really is a 5 star service and far exceeded my expectations."

  • "Very very personalised service. You arrive, they expect you, greet you by first name, have checked your file from past visits and set out very clearly what the process will be, what issues they're looking to address and how and they are happy to take the time to walk you through everything in layman's terms. Almost any professional service entity could learn a lot from how Cyclefit works. "
