LANDRACE Tupelo Shimano GRX Di2 with LANDRACE Gravel wheelset

Tupelo Ti built for the trails of Portugal

We have a a bit of a theme going on here with the Tupelo Shimano GRX Di2 builds, it is a very versatile groupset for road and gravel riding. Alan's bike has a Rotor chainset with 30/46 front chainrings which are a little easier than the standard GRX combination of 31/48. They are combined with an 11-34 cassette providing low gearing for climbs and the ability to remain in the larger chainring on the road on all but the steepest climbs.

The Handlebars, stem and seatpost are by Zipp selected from our build options and the wheels are own LANDRACE GRV carbon rims on Hopetech's Pro5 hubs laced with Sapim C-Xray spokes - hand built in London by Ed and Barna.

The titanium bottle cages are our new Landrace creations. This is a lovely balanced build and the feedback from Alan has been very positive on the ride quality and position. The flat pedals are used because Alan tore his Achiles tendon and had to have it replaced... so he doesn't like the idea of clipping in t his pedals at the moment!

If you would like us to build you a new bike, please get in touch.

What our clients say

  • "A highly personalized and very friendly service, giving good advice and adjustments that are helpful whatever level of cyclist you are."

    MJ

    Cyclist

  • "Rode my standard Box Hill loop this morning with the temp shims and more thought to position. Felt more connected and compact on the bike. Fastest ride of the year, picked up close to a km/per hour despite crappy wet pot holed roads, a ton of traffic and a couple of nights out Thu/Fri."

    Matt H

    Seven Evergreen SL

  • "A different level of professionalism! Super friendly and they really cared."

    CB

    Regular cyclist

  • "Very very personalised service. You arrive, they expect you, greet you by first name, have checked your file from past visits and set out very clearly what the process will be, what issues they're looking to address and how and they are happy to take the time to walk you through everything in layman's terms. Almost any professional service entity could learn a lot from how Cyclefit works. "

    Peter G.

    Recreational rider

  • "I tried the shorter cranks today and I like them - it feels like it's less stress for the back and it seems easier to ride higher cadence. In the end I had a good Tour with no back problems. Thanks for your help!"
