LANDRACE Mountain Bike Hardtail

Titanium MTB prototype the Hog Hill

Landrace Hog Hill 1

The Hog Hill - photographed after the South Downs Way ride.

The Hog Hill is named after the small hill that Redbridge Cycling Centre is built on on the borders of London and Essex. It is where Beastway used to host their now legendary mid-week mountain bike races having been booted off the old Eastway circuit in Stratford to make way for the Olympic Velodrome and soul less VeloPark.

OK, what's the concept?

OK, short travel - 100mm fork compatibility. Fast handling... but stable... I think we've done that.

Titanium tubing - to absorb trail vibration and excellent durability.

Geometry - we took the best bits from the old Trek Top Fuel, the Scott Spark, the Specialized Epic to name but a few and threw in our bike fitting and riding experience and created the best from the rest. This bike rides so well.

What our clients say

  • "Hey Julian and Phil, I hope you are both well. I just completed a 21 hour week on my new 165mm cranks and I am in love. They feel so so great! Thank you for all your help. I’ve never felt so comfortable on my bike before. All the best, Hannah"

    Hannah Barnes

National Champion / Professional Bike Rider

  • "Rode my standard Box Hill loop this morning with the temp shims and more thought to position. Felt more connected and compact on the bike. Fastest ride of the year, picked up close to a km/per hour despite crappy wet pot holed roads, a ton of traffic and a couple of nights out Thu/Fri."

    Matt H

    Seven Evergreen SL

  • "I tried the shorter cranks today and I like them - it feels like it's less stress for the back and it seems easier to ride higher cadence. In the end I had a good Tour with no back problems. Thanks for your help!"

    Bauke Mollema
  • "Very very personalised service. You arrive, they expect you, greet you by first name, have checked your file from past visits and set out very clearly what the process will be, what issues they're looking to address and how and they are happy to take the time to walk you through everything in layman's terms. Almost any professional service entity could learn a lot from how Cyclefit works. "

  • "I have been able to ride every day since the fit. So far I have had no pain which feels like a miracle!"
