The lightest aero frame in the world - 870 grams

Parlee RZ7 - there is a storm coming!

Bob Parlee knows a bit about both aerodynamics and fluid dynamics from his time as a America's Cup /Olympic boat designer. It was only a matter of time before Parlee tacked from his trademark super-minimal classic road shapes, made from the cleanest carbon that you ever saw, to a more radical silhouette designed to cheat the wind.

What is Parlee Recurve™?

Recurve™ is Parlee's very own airfoil design, derived from the designs Bob Parlee originally formulated for America’s Cup racing sailboats. Recurve is aimed at metric-driven athletes who are always seeking to improve or racers on the eternal quest for free speed.

Recurve™ Advantages:

  1. Maintains, and at some yaw angles improves drag reduction of established airfoils.
  2. Balances lateral and vertical stiffness of tube sections; improves ride quality without sacrificing aerodynamics.

RZ7 Design Highlights:

  • Lightweight - 870 grams for size Medium is quite frankly astonishing
  • System integration - fully optimised and hidden cables give a clean aesthetic and smaller aerodynamic footprint
  • The RZ7 seat-post incorporates a reversible rail clamp system - dial between 0mm and 25mm offset in seconds - move between road and TT

Available as a complete bike from £6597 (Force AXS) or £4903 for frameset only

What our clients say

  • "The personal service from both Phil and Julian is second to none. They have such a wealth of experience in fitting that they can almost tell at a glance if something is just a little off. It felt as though it didn't matter how long it took to get the best position possible - even for an amateur cyclist like myself. Can't recommend them enough."

    Susan

    Cyclist

  • "A great service, full of personal touches as well as the "harder" scientific analysis of my position on the bike, which was also excellent. I feel more planted on the bike now, and came away with some really useful feedback from the session."

    Ed H

    London Dynamo Rider

  • "Honestly these are great (custom orthotics). My feet feel totally balanced and stable and I‘m not searching for the pedal when I want to push it. They’ve made a massive difference.”"

    Tom Pidcock

    Olympic MTB Gold Medallist

  • "I'm new to cycling so needed some support on finding a bike that would be right for me. Julian couldn't have been kinder or more supportive, he took time to find out what I wanted from my cycling and then looked closely at my physical structure to ensure that the bike is a comfortable fit for me. It really is a 5 star service and far exceeded my expectations."

    RM

    New Cyclist

  • "Very very personalised service. You arrive, they expect you, greet you by first name, have checked your file from past visits and set out very clearly what the process will be, what issues they're looking to address and how and they are happy to take the time to walk you through everything in layman's terms. Almost any professional service entity could learn a lot from how Cyclefit works. "
