Liam brings a wealth of experience to the store manager role from outside of the cycling industry.
Previously working in the outdoor/adventure world, Liam has been successful in running a great store and leading by example.
Liam will be our point man in Manchester responsible for looking after our customers and keeping everyone happy!
Liam is a mountain biker at heart and has raced all over the country in National Series XC races. It is highly likely that he will have raced against Julian and Phil at some point!
Whilst still maintaining his skills on the trail he now rides every day of the year, rain or shine on the road and is never shy of a little dig on the climbs. He really shows who’s boss!
Cyclefit Technician and Sport Scientist
Matt joins the Manchester team as a Cyclefit Technician. His bike fitting experience began at University whilst studying for his Sport Science degree. From University, Matt developed his fit skills with a respected retailer before moving to the new Cyclefit Manchester store. Matt has fitted a huge spectrum of clients from elite GB triathletes and Olympic gold medalists to complete beginner cyclists. His experience ensures you are in good hands whatever level you ride at. Road racing & criteriums are Matt's idea of 'fun', he races at cat 2 level and loves a good hill to rattle up. Matt is also a keen triathlete, half and full iron distance events are his kind of thing and has been a part of the GB age group triathlon squad (he keeps that one quiet).
Physiotherapist and Cyclefit Technician
Dan is a Chartered Physiotherapist and has over 7 years’ experience in the NHS and various amateur & professional sports from cycling to taekwondo. After completing his hospital rotations, Dan has worked as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist for 5 years. After progressing through the British Cycling road and track racing ranks, an interest in cycling bio-mechanics was quickly developed. This has led to a broad experience within the bike fitting profession and has the option to run physiotherapy along-side the bike fitting process. In addition Dan has been practicing Acupuncture for 5 years for various MSK conditions which is also available in addition to Dan’s other skills during a physiotherapy session.
