Balancing your body

Cycling performance is often talked about and measured in numbers; power output, watts per kilo or speed. However in order to perform at your best, in comfort, the body must be in good condition. Vital components such as flexibility, strength and stability are often overlooked therefore increasing the risk of injury or discomfort, ultimately affecting performance.

The physiotherapist’s role at Cyclefit is to assess areas of pain or discomfort both subjectively and objectively to understand how these can be minimized in order to improve comfort and maximize cycling performance.

Factors can also be identified that may predispose our clients to injury in the future and a comprehensive injury prevention plan can be implemented.

Physiotherapy and bike fitting at Cyclefit blends the best of both worlds. Is it fit related or body related? This approach tackles both problems head on. This combination can take your cycling experience to the next level. It can improve your physical conditioning, resilience and performance as well as making your riding experience more enjoyable. Whether it’s a quick fix or a long-term tailored exercise program we can find a solution to your problems.
